Hi Nick here, just wanted to let you know about my latest news…
Every Summer one of the events that I look forward to the most is South East Open Studios in June. It’s something that I’ve taken part in for many years and although it involves a lot of hard work in preparation and setting up, it’s always lovely to get the house looking spruced up and to welcome in visitors to browse and have a chat. Often, following a generally quieter few months since January, this is an opportunity to display a large body of new work that has been building up over the past year. Much of it is for sale and it is invaluable to get feedback on much that has been quietly created in solitude. A number of pieces have been earmarked for forthcoming shows and usually visitor comments are helpful in in making final decisions over which ones to submit. This year’s my technical advance was acquiring a digital card reader, making payments without cheques , cash or BAC so much easier.
June is obviously a delightful, summery month which coincides with our garden coming into bloom.
If you didn’t manage to visit this time there’s alway next year. My usual opening days are the first 3 weekends of June, 11am – 6pm, but best to check my website, (or SEOS website: https://www.seos-art.org/nick-hebditch/) nearer the time.
